Program name: CabinReady
When you submit the sign-up form, this program stores the phone number you enter and the time you submitted it, so it knows who has consented to receive texts. That's the only personal data collected. No other information (name, email, location history, etc.) is requested or stored by this program beyond what's needed to operate it (e.g. the vehicle owner's own home address, used only to compute drive time for the owner's own calendar events — never shared).
This program sends two kinds of automated text: a once-daily summary of that day's planned car remote-starts, and a short warning a few minutes before an actual remote-start, each with a link to cancel. Frequency is roughly 1–4 messages per day when active, and zero on days with no planned activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. An opted-in number can also text commands (see the main page) to control the car on demand.
We do not share, sell, or otherwise provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent information to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Opt-in data (phone numbers and consent records) is used solely to operate this program. The only external services this program communicates with are the vehicle manufacturer's own connected-car API (to control the vehicle), Twilio (to send/receive the SMS itself), Google's Routes API (to compute drive time from an address, not from a phone number), and Open-Meteo/OpenStreetMap (weather and geocoding, neither of which receives phone numbers at all).
This is a personal, single-operator hobby project, not a company. There is no customer list beyond the number(s) that have explicitly opted in via the sign-up form, and it is not offered as a product or service to the public.
